Kianna Pete (Diné/Navajo) is a climate justice and education policy advocate. She has spent years in organizational and research environments working alongside Indigenous and local communities to promote self-determination, knowledge of political systems, and educational equity. Kianna serves as the Tribal Conservation Program Fellow at Biodiversity Funders Group and Fresh Tracks Trainer at Aspen Institute Forum for Community Solutions to support Indigenous-led stewardship and youth leadership development. She is also an Education & Engagement Youth Advisory Council Member for the National Wildlife Federation, Ambassador for the American Indian College Fund, and Curriculum Lead at Start Empowerment expanding access to climate justice education.

Outside work, Kianna creates educational social media content and collaborates with justice-centered organizations to address issues impacting Indigenous peoples around the world. She holds a BA in Political Science and Race & Ethnicity Studies from Columbia University and an MA in Politics & Education from Teachers College, Columbia University.
