Anthony Anaya-Gorman is the Development Coordinator for the American Indian Community House. He is a proud mix-blooded Diné who grew up on the Navajo Nation. Anthony’s mixed identity led him to study and engage in conversations about multi-cultural and multi-racial identities. He earned his B.A. in Communication with a concentration in Intercultural Communication from The University of New Mexico.

Later, he completed his master’s coursework at Concordia University – Portland in International Development and Service and is currently developing his thesis project on mixed-blooded American Indians. During his master’s program, he worked with the American Gap Association, Taught ESL in Italy, and worked in Ecuador with a local NGO who used the arts for community development.

Anthony is also an actor and photographer. He studied at the William Esper Studio, the foremost studio dedicated to Meisner-based actor training in NYC. Anthony loves to bring his training and experiences into the work he creates and aims to highlight the range of what it means to be Native American.
