Ms. Valerie Vande Panne is the Communications Manager at AICH. A long time journalist, her work has appeared in numerous outlets, including Bloomberg, NPR, and Reuters, in addition to the ViIlage Voice, the Boston Phoenix, In These Times, and Next City, among many others. She was most recently the managing editor of Native News Online, where she worked on some of the best reporting on Indian Boarding Schools. Valerie was kept from her biological father and family as a baby due to their Mexican and Native heritage. Since finding her father and family, she has committed to remembering, restoring, healing, and supporting Indigenous communities and pre-colonial ways of being.
